About Our School

Guru Nanak Dev DAV Public School was established on 1st September 1992 with the collaborative efforts of the Principal DAV College Amritsar Sh.D.R.Gupta and local people of Bhikhiwind. The school was set up to spread the light of education in the rural border area of Khem Karan, Punjab.

    • Independence Day & Janamashtami was celebrated in the school on 14.08.2015. On this day the Open Air Theatre of the school was inaugurated by our Chairman Sh.J.K.Luthra Ji.
     
    • Prize Distribution Function was organized in the school on 08.06.2015. Dr.Rajesh Kumar was the Chief Guest of the function.
     
    • Dental/ Medical check up camp was conducted in the school campus on 4th & 5th June'2015.
     
    • Workshops for the teachers of Nury to 8th were organized in the school on 29.05.2015.
     
    • The Senate of the students was formed and oath ceremony was held on 20.05.2015
     
    • A workshop on Nature Therapy was conducted on 16.04.2015 in the school campus by Livewell Health Care Centre, Hoshiarpur.
